Word of the Week...

SNOW!!!

See the pretty snowflakes
Falling from the sky;
On the walls and housetops
Soft and thick they lie.

On the window ledges,
On the branches bare;
Now how fast they gather,
Filling all the air.

Look into the garden,
Where the grass was green;
Covered by the snowflakes,
Not a blade is seen.

Now the bare black bushes
All look soft and white,
Every twig is laden,
What a pretty sight!

Enjoy your snow! We've got nearly 2 feet now with more coming down. Not sure what today will hold...all of the weather forecasting we get is for the Portland/Metro area, it's always different where we are in storms like this. :) We are LOVING this blast of winter though...all snug in our little bit of heaven. :)

Candy~Thank you~wish I could take credit for the poem...my attempt ended up sounding more like Dr. Suess's Fox in Socks...;)

There is such a gentle peace about snow whereas with wind of course it is anger and rain is grief, sunshie is joy unless its 110. What was I talking about? Oh yeah your gorgeous pics. Well done
