A Very, Beefy Meal Plan for 12/5

I'll be calling this The Week of Beef.

And not because we are having beans on Wednesday either.

While I was out and about the other day, my Mister got the call we had been waiting for. Our beef was ready to be picked up and they needed us to come and get it NOW! In fact, the butcher was a little panicked during the call as he had no place to store the meat he had so lovingly packaged.

Well, I don't know if it was lovingly, but he does seem to enjoy his job.

It's probably because of all the really neat tools he gets to use.

So my Mister, who has been down with the flu (And yes, he had his mandatory-for-work flu shot.), grabbed our adult sons (son-in-law Ben, and eldest son, Dakota) and headed in to the butcher shop.

I came home to find every single inch of freezer space stuffed full.

The boys removed all of the other items in the chest freezer in order to put the new meat in.

That was the easy part. Putting everything back in proved to be a little more difficult.

Last year's beef, some veggies, and bread are covering the majority of our 500#'s of Angus.

Difficult, but not impossible.

Although, now I can't seem to find my hidden stash of ice cream...very suspicious...

Here's what's cookin' this week...
