A View from the Farm

Signs of spring are everywhere! From the herds of elk grazing the new grasses in the neighboring fields, to the flowers popping up in between rain showers, spring has sprung!

Let me wrestle my hat away from this little monkey, and I'll give you a tour of spring at our farm.

As we take a walk above the house, the cows sense hay in their future...
...the grass is growing, but not fast enough for Bailey.

This is part of the 2 herds of elk that converged on our neighbor's field.

April showers may bring May flowers, but daffodils were made to break the rules.

This old tree didn't want to be upstaged by the daffodils.

Wake up lilacs!

Hello rhubarb!

Oh, how we've missed you plum tree!

Welcome to the world, little one. (Look closely, it's there!)

Not everyone is happy though.

The "girls" are waiting for daylight savings time to begin.

Don't forget to spring ahead this weekend!

A beautiful reminder of spring on the way. The rain is still washing us down.... much needed slow, steady rain refilling all the water tables for wells and springs to run freely this year.

Your place is beautiful!

I've been out taking photos of signs of Spring popping up around our place too.
It seems as if every day there is something new budding or sprouting.
